Hotel Kojan exceeded my expectations on a recent trip. The location is superb, just a quick walk to Shinsaibashi station and the vibrant Dotonbori area. I loved the spacious room, especially with three large twin beds that felt more like a double. Breakfast was a standout with delicious traditional Korean and Japanese options. I also appreciated the water cooler in the lobby for those late-night hydration needs. However, I did notice some cleanliness issues. there was dust on the furniture, and a bed had damp covers when I checked in, which was off-putting. Additionally, the noise from adjacent rooms made sleep a bit challenging on the first night. Despite these drawbacks, the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, going above and beyond to assist with luggage and taxi arrangements when needed.

Request a higher floor for better views and potential noise reduction from street activity.

The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. there were cleanliness issues, including dirty cups and a musty smell in the room. It felt unsettling to think about what other areas might not have been properly cleaned. I also noticed that the room had damp covers on the bed, which was quite unpleasant.

The location is fantastic, just steps away from numerous eateries, making meal choices plentiful. Staff were exceptionally courteous, and the comfortable beds with high-tech amenities, including a seat warmer, were a definite highlight. While the hotel’s age is noticeable, the cleanliness compensated for it well. However, a detailed housekeeping routine is essential, as small missed tasks during my stay were evident. The overall condition could warrant some updates to enhance the guest experience.

Comfort in the Heart of Osaka

Despite the dated appearance, I found the Standard Twin Room cozy and the staff exceptionally friendly. Enjoyed a lovely local dining experience on-site. Future guests should request a room away from the main corridor for a quieter stay.

The room was large and well-kept, which made it a comfy base with ample space for our luggage. We appreciated being offered a complimentary room stay for a few hours due to our delayed flight, which genuinely meant a lot to us.

Great location and super-friendly staff made my family’s visit memorable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, featuring a variety of dishes. Although the room had an old feel, it was clean and comfortable. Just a minor downside, the air quality could be better.
